After having distributed nearly 10000 copies of TECC's bi-lingual Gospels of Luke we were praying for more resources to continue serving the already 170000 people numbering community of Indonesians in Taiwan with Gods Word. - Compared with the many of them who never heard something of Jesus we can not be nearly satisfied with this result! To print 5000 copies costs TECC 114,000 NT$.To have 700 Indonesians gathered and praising the LORD of LORDs at a special Christmas Festival by December 5th was special grace, but was also the time where TECC distributed its last bi-lingual copies of Luke's Gospel.
Already we had to answer telephones asking for more by saying: "Sorry, right now we pray for money to print new ones"
Praise God, a church in Taipeis Beitou District, as soon as they heard of this need made it their prayer and decided to have half of their Christmas offering invested in this project.- This really is amazing love, because they probably will have to wait until eternity until they will see even one of those who is going to be blessed through this gift of love. They don't even have any Indonesians at their church!-
While there is some money missing to pay the printing expenses for a new edition, we think we should no longer wait and prepare the 2nd edition. -
